Automaton Assault

Intro skit script:
A: I just finished up on the perimeter... EMPs are armed. Do you think it’ll be enough?
B: It’s gunna have to be. We’re running out of time.
A: Are we gunna make it out of here?
B (pause) I don’t know... I just don’t know.

Verse 1:
Traps are laid, ready to hold the plague, marring our
everyday, heads up on all displays, think it’s been
twenty days, since I saw the sun come up,
our lives erupted into catastrophic dismay. We
thought that they’d, supplement our lives and make em better,
instead they turned on us, using photoreceptors to intercept us
every time we’d try to get by, now it’s a
never ending struggle as we try to survive!

Recharged fully every morning when it’s early,

Mistakes were made, crusades to end us every day

(outside, running footsteps, mechanical sounds)
Bot A: Alert, there are two humans making their way due east on foot.
A: Go! Now!
Bot B: Acknowledged. Unit 5, 7 of 9, lock on anti-personnel charges and fire.
Bot A: Acknowledged. Moving to comply. Lock on in 3, 2, 1...

A: (Arnold voice)Down! Get down! Do it now! (Explosion, falling debris)
Hos: That was way too close!
A: We need to find cover... come with me if you want to live.
Hos: Wait... what did you just say?
A: I said, come with me if you want to live.
Hos: (laughs) isn’t that just... a little bit ironic?
